The purpose of TTDC is to foster the development of Bangladesh’s travel, tourism and hospitality sectors. This includes promoting sustainable growth, advocating for supportive policies, providing a platform for collaboration and elevating the country’s global standing as one of the premier travel destinations in South Asia.
Objectives

Promote Bangladesh’s travel, tourism and hospitality sectors by improving hospitality infrastructure, services and country branding.
Create a network of industry professionals and businesses to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Work with public and private stakeholders to advocate for industry-friendly policies.
Promote high standards of business practices, service quality and professional ethics across the sector.
Provide training programs, workshops and seminars for capacity building and skill development.
Promote sustainable tourism practices and encourage innovation in travel and hospitality.
Represent the interests of the travel and tourism industry at national and international forums.
Undertake research on airlines, travel, tourism and hospitality and publish findings for future reference.
To strengthen Bangladesh’s tourism ecosystem through research, collaboration, training and professional standards.
To help establish Bangladesh as a trusted, sustainable and competitive travel destination in South Asia.
To work independently or through partnership with local and international organisations, subject to Board approval.
